On the eve of the USA’s 248th birthday, two prominent American activists, the Rev. Bud Green and actor-entrepreneur Alki David, have announced their “Presidential Protest Campaign for Peace, Love, Liberty, Justice, and P.O.T.” The primary aim of their platform is the federal legalization of marijuana across all 50 states and U.S. territories, advocating for the mental and environmental health of the country.
Rev. Bud Green is known for his appearances on 1990s daytime talk shows and for orchestrating the Brooklyn Bridge White Flag Protest a decade ago. Today, he continues to advocate for a mellow message of peace, love, liberty, justice, and marijuana legalization.
