Mr. David, Rev. Green’s running mate, noted today that even the U.S. Justice Department has announced its intentions, as of May 16, to reclassify marijuana as a less-dangerous drug.
According to PBS, “The Drug Enforcement Administration will take public comment on the proposal to move marijuana away from its current classification as a Schedule I drug, alongside heroin and LSD. It moves pot to Schedule III, alongside ketamine and some anabolic steroids.”
“However,” said THE P.O.T. PARTY’S Co-Presidential nominee, “Old Joe Biden is, as usual, a day late, a dollar short and also, it seems, incontinent and demented. His federal DEA thugs — often corrupt narco- or human-traffickers themselves — should just get out of the way and allow all American adults to smoke a joint as readily as they can drink a beer.”
Mr. David continued, “Surveys show more Americans smoke marijuana daily than drink alcohol. According to Gallup, 70% of the American People favor federal legalization. In other words, from a Democratic viewpoint and to quote the Blues Brothers, we are on a mission from God.”

Surprisingly, the P.O.T. PARTY’s leaders are a pair of alcohol-abstinent teetotalers whose “medication of choice” is what Rev. Green calls “the Holy Herb of Cannabis, possibly used by our Lord Jesus Christ himself in anointing ceremonies. Alki and I regard the peaceful, meditative enjoyment of weed as a sacrament, a religious and personal right of bodily autonomy secured by the First Amendment,” he said.
An environmentalist, Americanized businessman of Greek-Cypriot and United Kingdom descent and a Hollywood professional, Mr. David harbors additional, capitalist motivations:
As a devoted ‘Green Energy’ activist, he aims for his cutting-edge biofuels company, Swiss X, to displace fossil fuels with energy solutions derived in part from cannabis, a category which ranges from green plants rich in therapeutic THC and CBD (cannabinoids) all the way to low-cannabinoid industrial hemp, a crop historically used to make clothing and rope.
Mr. David said, “The USA’s Founding Fathers, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, grew hemp as a crop. Indeed, they were MARIJUANA farmers!”
